From Paper to "Real"

Getting the idea behind iPhFT from paper is taking us longer than we expected. Its now close to a year since John left for Mexico to meet with the people behind Instituto Mexico Tecnico Floral (IMTF) and to observe how the classes are conducted and how the school operates.
Searching for a perfect location and building for the school was another hurdle the iPhFT team had to face. Classes in IMTF had an average of 18 students at a time. Each student had a specific work table/area. The classroom had a higher than normal ceiling to accommodate tall arrangements. The various factors the iPhFT team had to consider were specific and varied — no normal “building” would suffice.
It therefore was a welcome surprise that we found one in the quiet side of Malate (Manila) that was able to meet all of iPhFT’s requirements. All that remain is the long wait as the three-to-four-months of construction and repair starts in January to make the building perfect for the school requirements.
