Women in Business

March 8 was International Women’s Day. iPhFT was one of the exhibitors in the one-day event organized by Go Negosyo at the World Trade Center promoting entrepreneurship among women.

The iPhFT booth was presented as a flowershop to attract floral enthusiasts to seriously consider their passion for flowers as a viable source of income. A number of iPhFT students dropped by the booth to visit and some helped answer queries from interested parties. Three iPhFT student-visitors designed floral arrangements on the spot as booth visitors looked and asked questions about the diploma program of iPhFT. The three students who wowed the crowd and left interested parties taking pictures of their work were Yvonne Barretto, Angie Dy and Marissa Palines.

iPhFT is set to open a new class on April (the fifth class to open) following the Saturday morning class that recently closed a month and a half ago.

Note: Top photo shows floral work of Angie Dy and Yvonne Barretto. Second photo shows work of Marissa Palines. All arrangements were done on the spot during the exhibit. Not in photo is iPhFT instructor Susan Orendain who spent time in the school’s booth addressing queries.

The tuition is 60 thousand pesos for 10 months or roughly about 1,500 per class. We have several payment options available to make it easy on the pocket. We figured that P1,500 is reasonable considering every flower hands-on workshop right now thats conducted costs anywhere between P3,000 to P5,000 and you end up with a certificate of participation. This one costs P1,500 per class and you end up with a diploma.

Second, the school is a FRANCHISE from Mexico. We are considered an international school. The program outline, the course itself as well as how the classes are conducted are not just standards observed from Mexico but also the United States as our Faculty is headed by the ONLY AIFD-certified Filipino there is (American Institute of Floral Designs). We will soon be posting messages from the first batch of students about to graduate and photos of their pre-graduation preparations so you will have an idea of what their experiences were like for the last ten months.

All the details you need to know are in this website – enrollment forms, locator map, etc. Call landline 400-1416 and look for Gina if you have other questions. Thank you for your interest
